The white clouds rolled across the orange and red covered hills. As we drove I commented to Matt over and over again how beautiful the leaves were in full autumn color. But Becky, not even the grandeur of the leaves and rolling hills could take Chris’ eyes off of you. You radiated and I couldn’t help but tear as I watched Chris’ face when you walked towards him on that day. As I glanced around the room, I was not the only one with a glisten in their eyes. Your friends and family smiled with overwhelming joy as they watched a strong man and beautiful woman of God come together.

I remember Courtney’s cute reaction when I asked her to kiss Jon in the busy Harvard Square coffee shop. She nervously giggled and really quickly gave him a pec, not wanting the neighboring coffee drinkers to start chanting “too much P.D.A.” But on this day, though over 200 guests were watching, Courtney’s excitement took reign and everything else faded away. She laughed, she walked, and she kissed as if it was just she and Jon. Because it was their day and only he was in the room filled with a sea of people.

Jon I love, and am not surprised, that you documented the beginning of your own ceremony.

I love how you make each other laugh.

Jena + Chris

You could see it in her smile, see it in his eyes, and feel it in their family as they hugged each other on that special day; it was more than just unconditional love it was joy, peace, and a humble confidence found only in God. As Jena and Chris stood before their friends, family, and before God they recited there vows committing forever to love each other the way Christ has loved them. So you knew it was a forever kind of love, a love that grows deeper with each day, a love that never fails in any circumstances, a love that believes the best and endures everything without weakening.

Jena, as many have told you, you were radiant on your wedding day. But beyond that you have such a sweet, gentle, & caring spirit that can be felt by everyone around you.

I just love how much Chris makes Jena laugh!

Keith & Sarah

I was and 800 miles away when I first heard about Keith and Sarah. Words like “head over heels, puppy dog love, and completely smitten” came across the phone line. ”Oh, and giggles” my mom would add (you know the kind where you giggle in place of words with a grin from ear to ear because you have such a crush).

It was hard for me to believe. I kept thinking…My brother? are you sure you are talking about Keith?

So when it came time to for Thanksgiving…I was excited to see for myself. I remember staring out the window, as we drove through the night across the states to Holland, Michigan, wondering the whole time if it was true.

And sure enough, Keith greeted us with the biggest glossy-eyed, love struck grin… and then she entered the room. And I saw it.

I had never seen his face light up that way…and that’s when I knew, when we all knew that a wedding was just around the corner.

Sarah you are absolutely gorgeous!!! Love those shoes!Love these next two! Sarah you are radiant and I love LOVE how you snuck us into this location (it was sooo windy outside).Can I get a whistle?! Now that is attitude.
Keith, you were looking pretty fine yourself

We stopped to get a little snack in downtown Holland. Thank you Kilwins for the amazing fudge (Keith’s fav.) and for letting us go behind the scenes for a few pics!
Keith you have found a B E A utiful women with a heart that matches.And we can’t forget Evalyn! This is one very blessed little girl. (Keith was also blessed as that diaper of hers sure smelled but thankfully didn’t explode during these pics. Note to self : don’t forget the diaper bag)And let the party begin!!!

Britt + Dan

I received an email with exclamation points galore from Britt just two days before her wedding. To say she was excited to get married was an understatement. Her wedding day came with blue skies and a hint of a fall breeze. I first spotted Britt in the hotel lobby where she sat with her girls. The girls giggled away memories while Britt sat calmly with a glow that spoke of her excitement. Today she was marrying a “blessing, a gift, a man of God firmly rooted in faith,” and may I add, a man that is completely captivated by her.

Britt, you looked absolutely positively stunning. Dan could not keep his eyes off you!

Matt and I loved watching this relaxing backyard party unfold. Guests played cornhole on the beach while others relaxed and chatted over burgers and lemonade. S’mores were cooked over an open beach fire as the sun set. It was a party that celebrated the newlyweds and the beautiful relationships that had supported Britt and Dan along the way.

Britt’s and Dan’s eyes lit up when they heard we would stop for ice cream, “Can I please have black raspberry scooped on a sugar cone and a cookie dough milk shake?”

One, Two, Three, Four I declare a thumb war!!And the winner is…

Love this one!!!! Dan, you sure can make this girl laugh.

Britt and Dan it was a joy to be a part of your day.
