I have been eyeing up this recipe on Annie’s Eats for a while now.  They look so festive…and I am definitely in the holiday mood.  Matt caught me playing Christmas music the other day…I know I know it is not even Thanksgiving.  But with the scheduling of Holiday Sessions,  I just can’t help it when I am shopping for candy canes, wrapping boxes, and cutting snowflakes.

All I needed was a bag of cranberries to begin my holiday baking.  Or should I call it holiday pre-taste testing. Because who am I kidding, these are going to be gone by the end of the week!

Delicious! I changed it up a little bit half way through and added some white chocolate pieces.  Mmm, it was a good idea.

Pancakes.  Oh it smelled so good…so comforting after a few days of adventurous eating in the villages of Nepal.  I like trying new things, but mmmm pancakes sounded fantastic.

Back in the Storm’s kitchen (they are the family we stayed and traveled with in Nepal), Solomon and Sofia helped their daddy make breakfast.

This was the face after I caught Solomon smack licking batter of his fingers.
While Solomon was helping stir the batter, Sofia…well she helped too.  She reorganized the tupperware on the kitchen floor and Daddy’s wallet.
Ready! Pancakes are done! Solomon let everyone know.  I caught a picture before they all disappeared.

The same word kept popping into my head…  blessing.  It is the word that describes this family; a wonderful blessing. They are a family that dedicates every single day to love.  You can see it in their smiles.

Jasmine is learning to count… 1,2,3,4,7,12.  Mi Mi added in 5, 8 and so on.

This session was a surprise gift given to their mom and dad, also known as Mi mi and Grandpa.

They thought they were awkward in front of the camera…as you can see, not at all.  My tongue however was having quite a twister as I attempted to sit and say Joannie and Joe side by side.  Try it.

Part way into taking Joannie and Joe’s pictures, the rest of the gang called me over to try to find Jasmine.  Where had she gone?
All of the lovely ladies.  Beautiful.

Jeff and Rhonda…I love this one of you two!

The blur makes me love this moment of Jasmine kissing her newborn sister even more.

The girl that planned it all.  Awesome idea Lauren.

A prayer for you-     Phillipians 1:9-11
