She handed me a card with beautiful colors on the front and said to me, “This is for your baby.”  My heat melted from her thoughtfulness.  Then her little brother came out from around the corner of the car and gave me one of those shy smiles before turning back to look for his daddy.

It was just moments after we met, yet  I knew it was going to be a lovely morning running up and down the lanes of Appleton Farms, despite a slight chill in the wind and occasional rain drop.

I had no idea how unconditional this love would be.  It has been tested at all hours of the night… and nothing changes.  In fact it only increases.  My little girl I love you with an unconditional love; one that you need do nothing to earn.  And it will always be that way.     ~ your Mommy

It was one of those Indian Summer- Fall mornings. The water of Houghton’s Pond was perfectly still…well until the twins found some rocks!

Sammy turned two months yesterday!  Get ready to roll your eyes…but I have already staid up late at night looking at her newborn pictures with tears almost in my eyes thinking, ” Oh , look how tiny …oh my goodness she is getting so big!”

How about we just blame the tears on hormones… and allow you to walk with me down memory lane of her first month. Her first month in Instagram

P.S.  Tomorrow I will be posting her birth story :)
