My little ducky for a day

At first Sammy thought her Halloween outfit was fascinating…especially the tights.  But then I zipped it up and all she wanted was out.  She pulled and tugged at the bubble butt, the cutest part of every baby costume.  I was able to distract her, for the most part with her tiny trick or treat pail (which she absolutely loved carrying up and down the street).

Upper crust was there handing out slices of pizza alongside Foodies with apples, pretzels and oatmeal cookies…MMmm. I wish I had more pictures of the crowds of children dressed up, juggling clowns, and parade of costumes but Matt hadn’t arrived yet and Sammy wasn’t so sure about the whole thing.  Normally she loves crowds, but this time she stood really close and just stared at each costume going by.  She did get excited though and gave a little woof woof call to all of the costumed dogs that passed by her.Halloween-in-boston-with-toddler-6Halloween-in-boston-with-toddler-1halloweenHalloween-in-boston-with-toddlerDaddy joined us at the tail end of the party just in time to trick or treat.  At first Sammy walked up and stared at the adults handing out candy.  She wasn’t quite sure what she was supposed to do.  But by the end she walked up to our last stop hand outstretched ready to plunk the candy into her pail.  Halloween-in-boston-with-toddler-5
