You were determined to make the largest “mud”‘ pile, as you called it, until you spotted the rocks along the shore. Your four year old legs raced across the sand towards the rocks, only stopping to chase the seagulls. With your bare feet you climbed rocks twice your height. And when you reached the top…you didn’t stop to take in the view. You were already looking for your next adventure…your next challenge. Occasionally you took my hand, but only when the rocks proved themselves bigger. And it was only for a brief moment because you wanted to do it all by yourself.
Little Skye, you are only 4 years old and are already climbing mountains…what will you do when you are all grown up?
You stopped just for a moment to take a nap…but then you were off again.
